When I am in VMK I see people walking around with these gold things around their neck, and it has a gold Mickey at the bottom. What are they and where do people get them?

They are lanyards. The only way girls can get them is when they make up a character. It is a choice for a top. Otherwise, girls must trade to get them.

Those are the shirts with pin lanyards.

Girls can get them only when they sign up a new character or trade for them.
Boys can buy them whenever they want.
