Hay, My name is Kelly and I'm totally psyched about the cruise. It would be cool to make some friends before I go on the boat.

Does anyone know if there is windsurfing at CC? Also, does anyone know what Common Grounds is all about? Wahoo-no parents allowed! What is the "build your own boat" on CC all about? What is the coolest activity for teens? How are the dance parties? I've heard that the teens get to stay up all night on the last night of the cruise. Is this true- pleeeease say YES!!!

Hi Kelly! Sorry, I'm not going on the cruise that's you'll be on, but I have been on a cruise before and am going again in late April. Hopefully I can answer some of your questions.

Common Grounds was basically a meeting place. On the first night, they have what's called the 411. That's when you'll meet the counslers and many other teen that are on the ship. In Common Grounds, you can play video games, watch television, play board games, read books/magazines, and/or just chill. By the way, one thing I learned, there's NO COFFEE.

<< What is the "build your own boat" on CC all about? >>

Well, can't help you on this one! I'm not much of a get down and dirty type of person. I spent my time at Castaway Cay getting my hair braiding, snorkeling (fish got a little too friendly for me....), and tanning on the gorgeous beach.

<< What is the coolest activity for teens? >>

The coolest activity for teens is BY FAR the Teen Junkanoo Cruise! It's on Nassau night, and it's a dance on a boat that circles the harbors of Nassau and Paradise Island for 2-3 hours ( i forget the exact time). Book it asap though because it sells out really fast.

They're ok. I only went to one, and it was really family oriented, and not just for teens, so me and my friends I made on the ship just went and hung out at Common Grounds.

Yes, it's true. I didn't go though, I just wanted to sleep and get room service!

Hey last year i went on a 4 day cruise with my friends, and this year im going on a 7 day.. let me tell you.. Common Grounds was the best part of the ship.. well besides the cute boys!!

What is the "build your own boat" on CC all about.
On CC there is a teen beach only (meaning no little kids or adults!!) so of course there were some activities to do.. one of them was to build your own boat.. they give you this BIG round bamboo sticks and a bunch of rope. You have to build this little raft.. get it in the water and row over to your team mates who are out in the ocean and switch partners, then row back and dissasemble your "boat" it was alot of fun!

How are the dance parties?
I had a different experience then Loudmouth did.. i LOVED the dances... All of the dances i went to were teen only, again no little kids or adults watching you. They were really fun, the music was ok, but i had a great time!

About staying up allnight... you can stay up all night ANY night of the cruise if your parents will let you, or at least i know i was out untill 2 or 3 usually every night!! i know i tried to stay up untill the sun rose on our last night but i got tired and allmost fell asleep ON THE DECK of the ship!! i know there was nothing open really late at night, im talking 2-3-4am, but its still fun just being with your friends.

Common Grounds.. if your one of those teens that can meet new friends easily, loves to party/dance/chill, then you will love this cruise! HAVE FUN! im going in June so.. wish me luck!
