My wife and I will be taking our one-year old daughter to the Magic Kingdom for one day on April 10th. We will be in staying in Tampa to celebrate the approximate one-year anniversary of our adoption. My wife and I both wanted to spend a day at Disney and do reconnaissance for future visits. We wil be accompanied my mother- and father-in-law. I have several questions that I'm sure you guys can answer.
1. How long does it take to drive from Tampa (staying at Renaissance near airport) to the Magic Kingdom?
2. Can we take our daughter on most of the rides? Obviously, the height restricted attractions are out. But how does seating work for a one-year old on the other attractions? Do you hold them or sit them beside you? I remember a bar coming down on several of the rides such as Peter Pan.
3. Should we purchase tickets in advance? I see that you can buy one-day tickets through Disney's website. I am sure that the week before Easter is going to be a busy one.
Thanks for any advice you can offer. I have not visited Disney since the late 1990's and I am definately looking forward to the trip.
