Use year has nothing to do with when you call to make the reservation. If you want to make the reservation before the 11 month window opens, rent points from a BWV owner. If you can wait until the 7 month window opens, then SSR points willb e fine.
You will need points that will be valid for an October 2007 vacation. For example, if you are getting points from a BWV owner with an August use year, you will want 2007 use year points because August 2007 use year points are good for stays between 8/1/2007 and 7/31/2008. If you are getting points from a BWV owner with a December use year, you will want 2006 use year points because December 2006 use year points are valid for vacations between 12/1/2006 and 11/30/2007.
After you find an owner willing to transfer points to you & before you send money, call MS and be sure the points will work for your purpose.
My advice is to make the reservation as soon as you can after the transfer. Ideally, the CM who does the transfer will also do the reservation on the same call. That shouldn't be a problem if you are getting BWV points.
