Do you think there is a certain time that the wait times seem to be the longest on the phone? Are the people calling right away in the morning waiting longer than if you wait until mid day? (I have a placeholder to book through Costco so I don’t think I can do it online?)

I am getting a little nervous about all of the people struggling to get the rooms they had hoped for! Do you think this is more the case for the sailings to the unique destinations like Hawaii and the sailings over busy times of year? If I am looking to book a typical four day Bahamian during a non busy time... do I need to be worried about Getting on the phone immediately tomorrow to make my reservation? My son has an event at school tomorrow morning, so it would work a lot better to make a reservation in the afternoon! However, I don’t want to miss out on the cabins that we are hoping for.

If you are booking a 4 day Bahamian and it's not Easter, I do not think you need to be concerned. You probably can even wait until next week when thing calm down.

As you are using a placeholder, you will need to call. You will call Costco and then Costco will get Disney on the line for the booking.

I think only the unique sailings are selling out quickly. What you're looking for shouldn't be a problem. I didn't call, I booked online, so I'm not sure how long you'll have to wait. I think the phones open at 8am.

Yesterday, I dialed in immediately at 8 am Eastern time (7 am where I am in the midwest). After a long hold listening to Disney music on the speakerphone, I actually talked to a cast member 1 hour and 12 minutes later. I was able to book the 9 night Hawaii cruise (for which I used an OBB), transfer an existing OBB reservation to a January 2020 cruise that we wanted and then finally to book a second January 2020 cruise (without OBB credit) b2b in the same stateroom with the first one. Cast member Gabbie was most helpful. She indicated that at that point of her busy morning she had been booking primarily Hawaii and Panama Canal cruises, so when I booked two garden-variety Bahamas cruises for January it was a first for the day. The fact that I could see pricing and some of the stateroom availability on the web site while I was talking to her was very helpful in our being able to book our preferred staterooms for all three cruises.

You can book online too. The website even indicated you can book two ways on the site or by calling. I like to book online.

I had to call because for some reason my Castawat Club number was not linked. I waited about 45-50 minutes after the recording had said it would be 13 minutes and that was at about 8:07am.

And from what I have been seeing. on the Quotes Thread it seems to be heavy on the Hawaiian cruises.

I had no problem booking a January 5 night out of Miami. The price was pretty good too. The CM was fantastic and fixed the glitch with my CC number.
