1. What are the chances of WDW offering another Play 4 Days Pass for Nov/Dec.?

2. My dad wants to buy our girls a resident season pass. He and mom will be taking them the first two days of our trip this year and next. Once activated, can I bring my girls in the parks even though dad purchased a season pass for them? ie. dad takes a nap and I bring the girls to MK. Is this doable? (I'll have an annual pass.)

Thanks for your help!! :D

Once you have the actual pass (not voucher), it doesn't matter. As long as each person enters with their own ticket and it matches their finger scan...

Since this Play4 expires Sept 30th, I would not expect another one for about half a year. I have never known them to run them that close together.
I am not sure about seasonal passes for Grandkids. I don't think it is suppose to happen, but I don't know how they stop it. I suppose if the fingerscan did not match the child's(happened to DS a lot this past trip!), they could ask you for your ID. I am sure someone else will know!

I thought I had read no finger scan for the children? That's what I was wondering about as we are in the same situation.

DS is 12 and had the fingerscan just 2 weeks ago with his SP. DD is 8 and did not. 2 years ago DS was 10 and had the fingerscan with a Play4, DD did not. I guess they start doing it at age 10?
I also noticed that each ticket had a "digital name" to it. I turned around and looked one time and it was in red digital letters for the CM to see on the turnstile. It said something like "FL seasonal military". Meaning we bought the seasonal pass at a military base. I suppose they could card us at any time for being FL residents and DH's reserve ID. DS was never questioned about his fingerscan I suppose as his "read" the same type of ticket as ours. Just a guess.

Here's hoping I understood your concern correctly. Once the children have their pass they can get in any park any eligible day, no matter who is or is not with them. If you are wanting to go with them, of course you would need to have valid park admission.

It really doesn't matter who buys or pays for the tickets, just that they ARE paid for, they are valid for the days you are trying to use them and they belong to the person trying to use it, children or not.

I am leaning toward agreeing with BibbidiBobbidiBoo's answer regarding how soon Disney will offer that discount again. However, never lose hope, they have been known to extend them once in a qhile. They will know closer to that date, if they have enough incentive to extend the offer or not.

How cool, I didn't even know they sold the FL resident seasonal passes on base!! Is that only on Florida bases, and if so, is the price much better than getting them at WDW? I've always just gotten ours at the gate, but it wouldn't be tough to stop by a Florida military base on the way down.

I think it is just FL bases and they are less PLUS no tax!:D I think it was $178 for Adults and $152ish for the child TOTAL. SOG sells them too, I called and asked. Would have been about $20 more for all 4 than through NAS Jacksonville. I think each base varies in price too. It was vouchers that he bought. We exchanged them at the gate.
DH does not do reserves there, is not even Navy, but it was the closest to his reserves and the cheapest!

See if this works. Look under MWR for the ticket prices(adobe). I love the no tax. Hard to pass up seasonal passes at that price!

Glad to help!:D I think we saved about $85 on the 4 tickets(3 adults, 1 child), that paid for a character meal or something :p !

OK, so my folks buy a resident season pass for the grandkids. Because they can't keep up with Dgd's, they buy a resident hopper or something other than a seasonal pass. Is there a problem with Dad activating the GD's seasonal, even though he'll have something other than a seasonal pass himself?

(It's a question Dad will ask me, he's more than thorough, and he's trained me to have the answers! )

Thanks for all the help!! :D
