Questions for folks who have stayed at Cypress Point

We'll be staying at Cypress Pointe in 8 weeks. (I can't believe it's that close. ) Anyway, I've started putting together a box of things to take w/us for the parks and another thread on here made me realize I probably need to do the same for the condo. There were some great suggestions on the other thread but I'm wondering if anyone can fill me in on what exactly will be supplied at CP. I figure a starter roll each of toilet paper and paper towels. Anything else? Also, do the bedrooms have ceiling fans? This is our first time going the offsite condo route and this board has been a wonderful source of information - a big thank you to everyone.

I have a list of what was provided in May of last year at Cypresse Pointe. I found that I took things I didn't need to.

If you're staying in a 2-bedroom, the welcome kit included:
tiny box of Tide - for 1 load
two dishwasher detergent tabs
liquid dish soap (small bottle but plenty for a week or more)
one sponge
four rolls of toilet paper
one roll of paper towels
four small trash bags
two large trash bags
two hotel-sized shampoos
two hotel-sized body lotions
four hotel body soap bars
two boxes of kleenex
two coffee packs (one decaf, one regular - includes filter)

All of your linens are included and there were plenty of towels.

Yes, thank you - that's a huge help. We're staying in a 3 bedroom but I wouldn't think there would be much difference - maybe a little more toilet paper? Thanks again.

Oh, just thought of a few more -
-- What sort of cookware pieces in the kitchen?
-- What sort of small appliances besides the microwave & coffeemaker? (toaster, blender, can opener?)
-- Is there a corkscrew & wine glasses, pot holders and kitchen towels?
-- Do they provide any hangers - what kind, how many?

Lots of questions I know but I want to be prepared. Thanks.

Every bedroom has a ceiling fan. You get starter quantities of dish soap, one load of dishes, one load of laundry and each bath has shampoo, conditioner and soap.

The kitchen had a complete set of dishes/cutlery. There was definitely a toaster. Not sure about the blender. It was a manual can-opener. Pretty sure there was a corkscrew. Definitely wine glasses. Frypans, saucepans etc. There were hangers, but can't remember what kind. Seems to me there were plenty though.
There's even a vacuum cleaner if you needed it.

I would take a couple of kitchen towels because I think there was only one or maybe two there. Maybe take a dishcloth as well. There were potholders/oven mitts I think.

Since you're staying in a 3-bedroom, you'll get 3 more rolls of toilet paper, a couple more coffee packs and trash bags along with one more hotel-sized shampoo and two soap bars.

The Winn-Dixie is less than a 1/2-mile away and I'm fairly certain it was open 24 hours. Across the street there is a Walgreens as well. If I was to do it again, I wouldn't take much - just buy it after getting there. Oh - and since you have a washer/dryer, you don't need to pack quite as many clothes either.

Thank you both. I've started filling a plastic storage box with all the little odds & ends but it sounds like there are several things I can take out. That's good news - now maybe I'll be able to fit everything into the one box. Thanks again.

When we stayed in 05 we just asked when we needed more tp and other paper products...they provided them at no charge. We bought our own laundry detergent though. Winn Dixie is right around the corner and you can get your supplies there. I recommend you get their customer reward card...you can save a lot with it. You can apply for it online and have it when you go or apply in store. Here's the link to apply online.
