Questions for Canadians...about SB.

Where and what do you buy for SB? I currently buy CM as that is what I got started with but I really need to buy online as I am in a rural area.

Thanks! Very nice to find this board over the past while. Hope this question doesn't break any guidelines or rules. It is just overwhelming the clutter on the internet trying to find a good sb store online.

I'm not Canadian but I hope you don't mind me helping a bit. If you look at the 4th 'sticky' down from the top post it is a list of sites that people have used. You may be able to find some sites that others have used.

Thanks! I did look and there are wonderful sites. I am just afraid to order from non-Cdn ones because of the international shipping costs.

I can't blame you at all the shipping is just outrageous. If you visit 2 peas in a bucket there are a lot of international scappers on that board (general scrapbook board) you might be able to find some info over there too.

I am not Canadian but I have noticed that www.disneyscrapper.com has started shipping Internationally. I have had very good luck with her answering my emails so maybe you could ask her what she charges. I have also had very good luck with Scrap Your Trip.

I don't know much about buying SB online, but is there a Dollerama, Buck or Two, or Great Canadian Dollar Store near you? They have a lot of good stuff.

I was just at a CM day last weekend and they are now charging for all shipping whether you order from a rep or not and CM will deliver directly to you. They have reduced the prices on some items to try to offset the shipping costs. My preference for any tools are CM so I will continue to order tools from them. However, I get most of my stickers and letters when I go over to Port Huron for the day and when Michael's is having a sale. I have also ordered a few CM tools on EBay - remember that you are bidding in US dollars and the international shipping costs are high. Try to order from Cdn sellers as this may reduce shipping costs. I have gotten really lucky on some items but sometimes the items sell for more then you can buy from the CM catalogue.

Thanks Newyears! I also noticed that some prices on ebay that go high are pushed up by "new" ebayers. There are many are excellent sellers but sometimes I wonder about items that are going for way too much.

I have ordered from mousememories.com several times The S&H is reasonable and they have a wide variety of stuff.
