Does anyone have some good advice on how to do this? We want to book the fireworks cruise for our trip in early June. The WDW website says that you can book it up to 90 days out but of course we all know that there are no hours or fireworks schedules posted yet for June. I read somewhere that the cruises were offered on Mondays and Saturdays. My questions are:
-Did you just call 90 days from the day you hoped to get the cruise or were you able to find out 90 days ahead of time the schedule?
-What phone number did you call?
I called the number on the website(407WDWMAGIC)and the CM there told me to call this number when I was ready to book it and then I would be transferred to the Grand Gatherings travel planners. Any advice would be greatly appreciated--we are taking DH's extended family and this will be the first (and possibly only)trip for all of them so I really want to show them the magic

Yup, Mondays and Saturdays are the 2 days available.

I would make the ressie at the 90 day mark as it seems these cruises sell out pretty quickly.
I tried to book a Monday cruise at about 85 days out and it was no longer available. I did manage to get on a Friday cruise (moved from Saturday because of Grad Nights in April) for my gang of 19.
In my case the park/event hours were not published at the time of the reservations, but it really didn't matter because we wanted to go on the cruise regardless of the time.

I'm using a Magical Journeys to plan my trip and my agent Melissa is my Grand Gatherings planner, so I can't help you out with contact info. The 407WDWMAGIC number seems logical.

Posted more info on the other thread you posted on but the basics...

Call right at 90 days from your desired cruise date. They do fill quickly.

Call the GG planners directly at 407-WDW-PLAN

Make sure you are registered as a GG BEFORE you want to book your cruise. You'll need your GG # to book it. Registering your group can take awhile on the phone so you may want to do this before you call to book the cruise.

LOVE this cruise...did it in December. It was the only time my sick DD smiled all week until she was finally feeling better the day we left. Worth every penny of the cost....just for the magic :) Hope to do this one again sometime, as well as the Safari...it sounds excellent!

Hope you all have a great time!
Katie
