1) In your opinion, whats the best restraunt the wonder?

2) Do any of them have escargot? On my last cruise I fell in love in with it on the dream.

3) Wheres the Gold and Platinum reception? Im assuming it won't be in a bar since I think this cruise will be packed with Gold and Platinum members.

4) Are their a lot of younger kids onboard?

5) Is there lot of motion? On my last bahamas cruise, I got violently seasick or it was something I ate so I hope laksa isn't bad.

6) Are you moving in tracy arm? Just sitting their? I think I might as well anticipate a sea day.

7) Good snorkeling excursions? Ones that require a oxygen tank and that a 15 year old can do? (I have an EXTREME obsession with aquatic life)

8) Have you managed to get an upgrade to concierge on an alaskan cruise?

Thanks, sorry for so many questions.

1) "Best" is subjective. Many people like Triton's. Tiana's Place is quite popular now. And Animator's Palate is good.
2) Triton's has escargot on their Signature menu.
3) My experience in Diversions. But that's now Crown & Pub. Probably still in there. Although, on our Hawaii cruise that had lots of Gold & Platinum members they had it on deck at Goofy's pool.
4) No way of knowing. Disney tends to have lots of kids. For any cruise.
5) There can be some rough waters when you are crossing to the inside passage. But the major portion of the cruise is fairly calm.
6) The ship does move (can't really shut it down). It turns so all sides get view of the scenery.
7) I believe snorkeling isn't an oxygen tank thing. That's scuba. And snorkeling in Alaska? Not me. There is a snorkeling excursion in Ketchikan. Ages 8-70. Must weigh between 80 and 270 lbs.
8) Never looked to do Concierge.

For #6, if your question is about the possibility of sea sickness, Tracy Arm is a very protected fjord, not open sea. Yes, you are moving, but nothing like open sea.

For the Alaska cruise, there is open sea on the first and last sea days, but the rest of the week is in protected waters.

Another vote for Triton on the old Wonder for me. Animator's Palace was number 2.

Tracy Arm is 31 miles one way. You are moving for several hours until you meet Sawyer. Not a sea day.... It's call "scenic cruise day". WARNING: Tracy Arm will be substituted due to ice congestion. This happens often early in the season. In 2016.... the Wonder never saw Sawyer as it kept melting.

Day 2 and Day 6 is in unprotected waters. It was the roughest part of the trip.

I booked a Mixology class the Tracy Arm day & regretted it as it was the most beautiful day and my favourite of the whole cruise.
They have fleece blankets, an outdoor barbecue and hot drinks on deck.
People also spotted mountain goats on the mountain.
I could have been outside all day looking at the crystal blue water, glacier and scenery :) Watch for the Disney photographers coming around to take pics in front of the fjord. I was in the Mixology class, and hubby got a pic of himself alone on deck & it was my favourite of the trip - wish I was in it :(

I don't think, at 15, OP will be partaking in Mixology.

I've not done it, but I have read very positive reviews of the snorkeling excursion in Ketchikan..
I know people enjoy such pursuits. But I found it too cold to snorkel in Mexico in December. I'm pretty sure there's no way I'm snorkeling in Alaska (regardless of what time of the year it is.

There are lots of marine wildlife excursions that don't involve snorkeling, however, in many of the ports.

Whats the "signature menu"? Never heard of it.

Signature menu is the specific menu for that MDR. In simple English, the menu you get your first time in that MDR (assuming you just eat dinner in the MDRs).

1. Since the re-imagining, my favorite by far is Tiana's. Thought the food was terrific and the entertainment outstanding.
3. We were in Azure last week.
8. Since Alaska sells out, port upgrades, especially to concierge seem unlikely. For this year, currently the only sailing with any concierge availability is the first May sailing.

Yeah I am June in next year, so probably not going to happen :(
