who has stayed in a junior suite at the WL?
is concierge service included with the junior suites?
if not, are there suites where i can get concierge service as well?
does concierge at WL have a separate checkin?
what type of views do the junior suites have?
when you booked concierge did the concierge service send you something to fill out with requests or did you have to call them?

The junior suites are not on the concierge floor. They are at the end of the wings. I do not remember the room number we stayed in, but it was on the 3rd floor and had an awesome view of the pool and lagoon. Perfect view of water parade.

We were able to get access to the concierge floor and services for $35/ night at check in.

We enjoyed the room. It easily accomodated us (2 adults 4 kids) and was cheaper than getting 2 rooms. We are going back in December and the Jr. Suites were booked so we are staying in 2 courtyard rooms.

The above poster is correct. They do not come with concierge service. You may be able to add it at check-in if the availability is there.

The concierge rooms are basically the same size as the other rooms at WL.

There are honeymoon rooms and Presidential/Vice-Presidential suites on the 7th floor that include concierge service.

IMO, the deluxe rooms aka junior suites are a great deal. If you can get the concierge service added at check-in then it is even a better deal.

Can someone describe the layout of the room for me? Are these those "home away from home" suites they are referred to? If not, does anyone have info on those? Size? Rates? Thank you very much!

del: these are not the villas ("home away from home"). these junior suites aka deluxe are the ones with the wet bar and mini fridge in the separate living room. there are french doors that open up to the bedroom. i saw the room on the travel channel's show great hotels the other day and loved it. you can get info from it on www.wdwig.com i don't know much about them which is why i started this thread. the only other thing i have found out is that they are not part of concierge and have 1 bathroom.

the villa are only in the VWL (home-away-from-home) not the lodge part -

you can rent points from a DVC member and stay in the villa part.

Just wondering...do they have a TV in the living area as well as the bedroom??
