I am new to the boards. We are going to Disney::MickeyMo next month. We are just going for 2 days to the Magic Kingdom. We can only afford that right now and we are trying to do this before my husband gets orders for us to move. We are less than 8 hrs from Orlando, that is why I wanted to go so bad. I am a huge disney freak. I am so overly excited about going.:tigger: Any suggestions to make this a smooth trip would be greatly appreicated. I have a 5 year old and a 23 month old. I haven't been to disney in 12 years. Depending on money (it is kinda tight for the trip), I was wondering if I can figure it out if I should try to do the Pirate pirate: and Princess princess: party or just what we should do. Any suggestions on snacks and how take what we need but try to travel as light as possible through the park. Thanks for any tips.

take lots of baggies so if you do grab a snack or meal and the kids don't eat it all, you can bag it for later (the stuff that will keep). Not sure where you are staying but the moderate resorts have fridges and you could take stuff to have breakfast in the room.

We usually do a character meal to fill up for the day. They are a nice break from the parks plus the kids enjoy them so much. Since your little one is under 3 you don't pay for their meal. You could do a late breakfast or lunch at Crystal Palace for between $50-$60. It's really hard to buy counter service for 4 for much less. We bring lots of cereal bars and small packages of cereal for the kids for breakfast.
