Today I check with a CM on the phone, the tour is offered daily at two times. Morning at 9:30am and the afternoon at 1:30pm. With the tour lasting about 3 hours.

Is there a better day of the week to take the tour? I was thinking Sunday might be best.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

If you've done the tour, what are your thoughts?

So what do you think????

Tour on Sunday morning or Monday afternoon?

I'm toying around with doing this tour again, but I can't decide. Walt's apartment is not a guarantee and I'm not sure if it's on the tour right now or if it's the Dream Suite, which would also be cool, tbh, but I personally want to see the apartment.

Anyway, if it were me, I'd do the afternoon tour because you can get so much done then and the afternoons get so busy, you know? I'd rather take time out of my day during the busier time of the day, is what I'm saying.

I agree about an afternoon tour. We have EE, I want to use it every day.

The two days I'm considering are Sunday Oct 4th or Monday Oct 5th.
This time is during Gay Days and I have heard the parks will be crowded.

If you were to give DL's crowd level a number for each day, between 1 and 10 like TP's, what do you think it will be? For Sunday? Monday?

TIA

This year will be my 4th consecutive DLR visit during Gay Days.
The only events inside the park are group photos: Mark Twain and Castle on Saturday, Bear (GRR) on Sunday.
Saturday is the most busy, particularly in DL due to the photo shoots. Any location serving alcohol will be busy, both in DCA and the hotels.

My own crowd rating:
Xmas, New Years: 10 (for comparison)
Friday Oct 3 Halloween Party: 7 (many guests arrive on Friday, so the party is a good deal)
Saturday Oct 4: 8
Sunday Oct 5: 7
Monday Oct 6: 5

While I agree an afternoon tour allows more rides in the morning, the lower morning crowds also makes tours more enjoyable. It is easier to follow the tour guide and hear the tour guide (even with the earpieces) when the park is less crowded.

I would take the tour on whichever day is going to be most crowded, since you get to skip a few lines on some attractions. Leave the less busy day for waiting in shorter lines. :)
