We are taking our 2 kids, 4(will be 5 Nov 1) and 8, staying at FW. We fly in Thurs about 6, so we don't have much time that night, perhaps a quick trip to Epcot if we get in in time. We have to be picked up for the flight out about 3, so we have to leave the park Sunday around 2. The Unofficial Guide says that Friday is a lousy day to visit the MK, that Saturday is the best. The Halloween party isn't on, and they have later hours til 10. So here are my questions: 1. Do we go to AK as suggested on Friday by the Unoffcial Guide, or go to MK early, and go later on Saturday back to MK? Part of my question stems from the fact that we will be picked up Sunday at the front of FW, and the bus that leaves from the depot near the front goes to Epcot or AK and the guide says that AK is good Sunday, too. I don't want to go to MGM or MK Sunday, since we'd have to get from the back of FW to the front.

2. Head to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland when we first get to MK? DD wants to do Fantasyland, but I told her we might not get to do Dumbo, and DS (8) wants to hit Stitch and Buzz Lightyear. Me?I want Space Mountain!!

3. Got any experience of crowd size? I took my boys last Thanksgiving, used FP, and got to do everything I wanted to do. But I can't get my 4 year old to go that fast.

Thanks,
Pat

The crowds haven't been too bad so far this month. AK is busy on Sat. more than in the past, I guess EE brings a bigger crowd. I noticed Epcot was quiet on the past two Sat. until about 7:00p.m., and MK closed early due to MNSSHP. I would stay away from AK on Sat. We were at MK 2 sat. ago in the morning, and got to do about 5 things in about 3 hours. crowds weren't bad.

We spent a week at DW during the last week of October last year & crowds really weren't a factor. There will be bigger crowds at Epcot due to F&W festival, though. We never had a long wait for anything.

Go wherever you want. I wouldn't worry too much about huge crowds. I really can't imagine there will be any.
