Questions about Tiffany Towncars

After reading many reviews on this board about Mears vs. a towncar, I think I am going to try a Tiffany towncar for our trip in January. We have 4 people going and I think it will be worth it. I have a few questions though since I'm new to this.

How do I pay? Cash, credit card, check? Is it a flat $90 roundtrip or does that not include tax? Is $10 a sufficient tip? Do I just tell them I want to stop at the grocery store when making reservations? Since the trip is in January, when should I call for reservations? Where does the driver meet us?

If anyone has any other advice or answers to questions I might not be thinking of, I'd really appreciate it!!

Oh! I'll try!

How do I pay? Cash, credit card, check?
-I believe they take Cash and Credit Cards

Is it a flat $90 roundtrip or does that not include tax?
-$90 total (with tax included)

Is $10 a sufficient tip?
-I personally tip $10 each way because you may not have the same driver on your return trip. Some people tip per bag, per person, or some other way. This is different for all.

Do I just tell them I want to stop at the grocery store when making reservations?
-Yes, make sure they know you are planning a stop so they can allow time. 30 minutes I believe is the time frame.

When should I call for reservations?
-As soon as you know your flight times/numbers.

Where does the driver meet us?
-The driver will be waiting near the baggage area with a sign with your last name on it. *I think this is where they wait*

CBRorBust has answered all your questions beautifully. I was quoted 85.00, though, when I made my ressies for January. But maybe they don't included the tax in the quote!

We tend to tip 15.00 each way. I think that's fair, since they do such a nice job with your luggage and all! I save up and put the 85.00 plus tip in an envelope and then put the return tip in another envelope and put these in my Passporter. I find if I save a dollar here and there and can pay cash for expenses like these, it saves the credit cards!

Just to let you know we have used Tiffany Town Cars for our last 5 trips and they are great! I usually have different drivers, all have been good.

Have a great trip!

We're using them again in a month. Used them in August and they were once again, terrific. We were quoted $85 also. It was $90 in August since we were at a MK resort (Polynesian). But this trip is at AllStarMu, so it's ony $85. You can go to their web-site, book online, and print out a $5 coupon. Every little bit helps!!!

There is a coupon in the Passporter for them as well. You don't tear it out, just show it to the driver. We are using them also! Have had great service in the past. Love the grocery stop!

Thank you everyone for your great advice!!! I went ahead and booked a reservation on their website. I'm really excited to try this since I'm used to Mears (and HATE it!!!) It sounds like the towncar will be a MUCH better experience. Thanks so much! :D
