Hi all,

I just have a few questions about summer at DLP.

What are the queues like in August compared to Christmas/New Year and Half term Halloween time?

What sort of theming is there for summer?

Is there anything done especially for summer? Parades, shows etc.?

I'm considering booking a surprise birthday trip for my best friend who turns 30 on the 15th August, and am planning on going Monday 17th-Friday 21st August. I'm just wondering whether it will be worth the money.

Thanks a lot :)

Hi :goodvibes

I have been in DLRP for the Halloween Soiree in 2008 and did celebrate there my 50th on July 23rd 2012.

To be honest i did not find in both cases queues *unbereable* and if you plan a little bit in advance and try and optimize time (like i go and grab a fastpass as you start queueing for another ride) we have always done what with wanted to and when we wanted to.

In summer the parks are opened for longer but i dont seem to remember anything special but Dreams that i pretended was my 50th celebration... pixiedust:

Queues and crowds are comparable to Christmas/New Year but I think are less noticeable because people aren't all trying to be inside out of the cold!

I always think the longer hours and (hopefully!) warmer weather more than makes up for any crowds/queueing.
