Hi!
this will be our first time to Disney...very exciting! We leave tomorrow and arrive on Wednesday :D

Shoes: Are open toe sandals ok to wear on the rides? They will have a strap on the back so they won't fall off.

Coolers: Are they allowed and can we bring our own water & snacks?

Lockers: Are they available and big enough for a small cooler?

thanks!!

As far as shoes I have never heard of any restrictions. I do know that on some rides like Soarin' if there is a chance of your shoes falling off, they will ask that you remove them. Yes, you can bring snacks and water into the park as long as nothing is in a glass container. I don't know about the cooler. There are lockers available in the park and outside of the park in varying sizes.

Have fun!

They don't allow any hard-sided coolers in the park, and will ask you to use the locker area by the picnic area outside the parks. Smaller, soft-sided coolers are most often ok, as long as there is no glass inside.

Shoes - wear what you like. Some of the most interesting people watching includes checking out other people's footwear choices. ;)

Shoes - open is fine, be sure they are comfortable!

Coolers - hard sided will have to be kept in the lockers outside the main entrance. soft sided can be carried in (small)

Lockers - lots of choices. some on the main plaza between the two entrances, some on main street, some inside DCA. They are computerized so I suggest going early and using the ones on the plaza - that way you don't have to waste time after rope drop getting everything put up for the day. You'll be 30 minutes into the PP ride line if you do the ones inside - I know from sad experience :(

Our grocery store sells insulated "cooler bags' for like a $1.50. They are great for storing stuff in our stroller, looks lik ethat wont work for you. You could also Get a big bottle of water and freeze it. You can enjoy cold water throughour the day by simply filling it at fountains as it melts. It you freeze a few you can leave the others in the lockers to keep your stuff cold. Also dont forget to raid the ice machine before you head to the park!!
