Questions about search

What would be the best way to do a search for info on the Food and wine fesitval? I don't understand the instructions of using AND or OR and whether you use them with a space or quotations or whatever. Also, with all the new servers, do we have info that back a year. My guess is that to look at treads from last Sept - Nov might have some good info.

I'd say "food and wine and festival"

Stick to one board (you don't have to, but if you don't you will get pages of stuff).

Try doing a few months ago and choose "older".

I don't use this search that often so others may have more insight.

Running any kind of search can be a bit tricky. Too much or too little information and you either end up sorting through a bunch extra stuff, or not getting anything at all.

Here are the search results for the way I would normally look for that info... food and wine and festival. That criteria returned 113 results from the Restaurant Board, of which maybe 30% pertains to the Food and Wine Festival.

Anyone else have any good search tips?

Thanks. Actually I tried "food and wine" and limited the board and set the time frame to a year ago and was able to get some of the information I wanted. the search took a few minutes though, so I had to be really patient!! Not easy with me LOL. The first time I got the "Click refresh" screen (that's what I call it) but pressed back and got the search results. I think Patience is the key! Thanks alot.
