Questions about Royal Plaza

We are staying at Royal Plaza due to the fact no Value Resorts were available during our travel dates for the upcoming 24hour event. I'm really disappointed because we always stay at Pop and love it!

Anyway, I gather there are no fridges or microwaves in the rooms, correct? But I am wondering is there anywhere with a microwave, like a food court type area?

Also, I am irked that the parking is $11 per day....but how does that work exactly? Can I come and go as many times as necessary for that $11? Please God tell me it's not $11 every time I pull in and out of the lot!

We stayed at Royal Plaza this past January. I just about died when I found out I had to pay $11 for parking. I know they have a gate you stop at before you enter the parking area, and you take a ticket. You will keep that ticket with you and I believe it is good for a 24 hour period. You do not pay $11 every time you leave and come back in. Hope you have a great time.

I don't know if the rooms have a fridge or microwave, but depending on when you are traveling, be aware that they are remodeling the main areas of the hotel over the summer and its possible the pool and/or restaurant will be closed. We found this out when deciding on where to stay for our upcoming trip. Unfortunately, all the DTD hotels have either a parking fee or a resort fee. (And I believe the Hilton has both!) I'd imagine the parking fee is per day and not every time you move your car, but you can call the hotel to be sure.

Yep it was an extra $36.00/night for both parking and resort fee when I stayed there in April.

What?! The website says $17 for resort fee and $11 for parking...that is only $26....they better not tack on any more....
