Questions about Rider Switch

I assume rider switch is available on all rides that have height requirements; are there any other rides it's available for?

I try to avoid being confused in advance so to that end, could anyone tell me where the person with the rider switch ticket goes (fastpass line, ride exit, etc) for BTMRR, Space Mtn, and Indy?

You go up to the CM and get one then when the other rider gets back you usually get into the FP line. This is my experience anyways. Sometimes I got funny looks and they made me grab my wife out of line and bring my kids forward to show I was not lying.

In my experience, for BTMRR and Splash you go through the FP line. For Space Mt you go through the exit.

As far as rides w/o a height requirement, we have been able to get one for TSMM before.

Thanks for the responses. We are going with a group of 10 people total so it would be nicer if the rider switch pass went through the FP line so that anyone else in the group who has a FP can join them.

In my experience we've always gone through the fast pass line.

One other little trick is if you have a child with a ticket (over 3) but not tall enough for the ride - get a fastpass for them, anyway and use it for someone else in your party. When we use this method we double our fastpass abilities when combined with rider switch.

Space we went through the FP line in September and October 2009, and June 2010.

Odd. We did the switchpass for Space in Nov 2009, May 2010, and Oct 2010, and they always sent us to the exit. Maybe its just a seasonal thing or depends on how many handicapped people they have waiting.

Unless they changed the rules, the swap-er can bring along a few friends. When we do it my DD gets to go twice, once with first adult and again with who ever was waiting. I think you can bring 3 others with you, but not certain.

At DLR the swap pass is good for up to 2 people

Officially the switchpass says the switcher may bring 1 additional person (so they don't have to ride alone). Unofficially, we've taken 2 people with us (we the parents switched off, and our BF + teenage nephew would go the second ride too), and the CMs have always been just fine with it. We also travel during off-season though so they might ask you to stick to the rules more when there are longer lines/waits etc.

If they're normally sending rider swaps through the exit at Space Mtn, I wonder if they would they let us go through the FP line if we wanted to? There would be others in our group with FP so it'd be nice to stick together.

You need to reed the rider switch card. For BTMRR I have gone through both the fast pass line and the exit. Guess it depends on the season.
