questions about refillable mugs

we went to wdw last year and stayed at POR. we are going again in sept. staying at POFQ. my question is can we use the mugs we bought at POR for POFQ or do they have their own? i dont want to bring them if we cant use them. thanks.

The mugs at POR and POFQ are accepted at both resorts. They are the same resort now (and they were sister resorts before anyway)...but the controversy is whether refillable mugs are reusable on subsequent rips at all.

I say yes....others disagree. You will see many versions of the mugs and I have yet to see anyone told they can't use them.
We used ours for 3 trips and then decided to buy new ones.

POR (DxL) & POFQ are sister resorts, so you should have no trouble using the mug at either resort. I have mugs from several of the resorts I have and have not stayed in. I have one from DxL and one from PO. On my last visit to PO, I brought both mugs and never had a problem with it. On my recent trip to the Movies, I brought my old one from the Music and again, no questions & no problems. This fall I'm staying at both the Caribbean Beach (1st time) and at POFQ and plan to bring my PO mug with me to use there. People have different opinions regarding this. I have never used mugs from one resort at another (unless they were sister resorts), but always bring my old one's to use at the resort that I got them at. It saves alot of money. Another tip would be to bring a few water bottles with you. A small bottle of water at WDW costs $2.50-3.00 each. If you drink alot of water (like I do) that adds up pretty fast, so I would refill the bottle with water, then use the mug to get lemonade in the foodcourt. I asked at CM on my last trip to PO and she told me no problem using my old one. Most of the mugs are pretty much the same, since it would cost the company alot of money to change the mugs every year.
