questions about point rentals??

I have a friend that has quite a few points about to expire in July. How do you guys go about the rentals? What happens after you post the availability? Do you make all the arrangements for them? How do you secure payment? Have you all had pretty good luck getting the points rented? I know it is short notice but she needs to get rid of her points and I remember seeing this board a while ago. Any info would be appreciated from one DVC member to another....
