I see thats its listed on the Dining plan listings has anyone used the dining plan at this resturant? Did you have any problems using it there? How is the food there or should we pick some place else for dinner?

We used the dining plan here in Oct. last year. We thought it was very good. My 2 sons shared their meal, they had the ribeye steak & I had the fajitas. For appetizers we had the chicken crunch & the texas tostadas. We had shakes for drinks & this was considered dessert which was fine. There was plenty of food & we left satisfied & full. We went around 4:30pm & got right in without adr's.

Planet Hollywood is definately ON the dining plan, cuz we ate there in December on the plan.....I actually really enjoyed this resturant, so have fun.

I recently made an ADR for Planet Hollywood and the Cast Member told me that on the dining plan, Planet Hollywood is only good for 1 table service credit (1 person) and you only get to choose from about 3 items on the menu...so I'm thinking I'm going to change that reservation to something else.

We used the dining plan here last December and it was very good. They have a nice selection of appetizers and entrees and let me say this about the desserts -

party: fan - freakin - tastic party:

We had the cheesecake and the chocolate cake and they were both huge and great. These desserts set the bar for the rest of the trip and nothing surpassed them.

I think the cast member was referring to the meal voucher you receive if you book a package.

We ate there on the DP in Nov and were not limited in what we could order except that there would be a surcharge for items over $22. However, this only applied to one entree- the Surf n Turf. We really enjoyed our meal here. The food was delicious and the servings were huge. :thumbsup2

So here's the deal...

Planet Hollywood IS on the Dining Plan as a Table Service only. See here: http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/packages06a.htm

Also - when you book your Magic Your Way package With Dining - you get one Planet Hollywood meal voucher - good for one item from a select menu (the one mentioned above) - But that's only One meal voucher per Package.

So - my question is this - if you are booking a dining plan - why do you need this meal voucher which is only good for a select item - when you can use your Table Service credit and get whatever you want?

Anyone else confused? :confused3
