So, for all of you WDW regulars, how crowded can we expect it to be March 6th (only 4 1/2 days WOOHOOO!!! ) through the 11th? Are we going to have long waits? We have gone in summer time before, but not this early!!

Where are the best places to meet characters? I know about Mickeys Toon Town. We are REALLY into ALL princesses!! princess:

Thanks for the tips!

I would think they crowds will be moderate next week, of course it's anybody's guess!

ESPN the Weekend (at MGM) is over on the 5th...

Local spring break starts on the 10th - 17th....

Enjoy, have fun, let's hope the weather keeps up like it was today!!! Gorgeous, I tell you, gorgeous!!!:sunny:

Here is a brief list - from our recent experiences...
Our Character Pics:

Magic Kingdom
You can usually find some characters right in Town Square when you enter the park - last week it was Gideon, Pinocchio, Gepetto, Goofy, Max, Suzy and Perla, Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, Little John, Prince.... John(?), Pluto, Baloo and King Louie (I think). They are pretty much out there all day, taking short breaks.

In Adventureland - across from POC - we found Wendy and Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

Fantasyland - near Teacups - we found Tweedledee and Tweedledum and White Rabbit

Toontown - Country Fair - three lines - Pooh and Friends, "Classic Disney" and Princesses - we had Jasmine, Snow White and Princess Aurora (even though the CM told us Cinderella was in there)

MGM
Al's Toy Barn - Buzz, Woody, Jessie and a Green Army Man (woman:rotfl: )
Power Rangers - you need to check the schedule for these - they come out back near Lights, Motor, Action - usually 4 at a time - families start to line up early
Sorcerer Mickey and Donald Duck are near Who Want's to be a Millionaire - and some characters from a Playhouse Disney show -- Jo Jo or something?

AK
We saw a couple out front - they vary, also Camp Mickey-Minnie and Rafiki's Planet Watch.... - I am sure I'm missing something here.

EPCOT - we got the Princesses at Akerhaus Princess Breakfast, and they have the Character Connection which is great - the characters are inside, very orderly lines, with Photo pass Photographers.

EPCOT World Showcase is one place we need to spend some time looking for characters.

Our weather here was beauty~ful too!!!! I told dd that God was giving us a taste of Mickey weather!! :mickeyjum What was the temp today?? We got to about 80. VERY unusual!! We are still getting snow during a normal year!!

Thanks!

:thumbsup2

We've always gone the first week in March (gosh, it's been two years to the day..too long). I've never had anything to compare it to, but we never had any problems. The weekends did get busier, but even then, I didn't see a huge difference until we tried leaving after Wishes...and it took forever. We always made sure to be at the parks before opening, and had a lot of luck getting on attractions with no/minimal waits (10-15 min.). The waits did get longer as the days progressed, but with fast passes, we honestly didn't have any huge waits. Maybe 20-25 minutes, tops.

Also, we found characters everywhere, especially in MK. We saw Belle many, many times, right inside the entrance. Jasmine, Alladin and Jafar were found several times by the Flying Carpets. Characters from Alice and Wonderland were by the Tea Cups a few times. Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Phinochio, Ghepetto, and a bunch of other "regulars" were often found right inside the entrance and also in front of the castle.

It can be a busy time, especially since some colleges start spring breaks pretty early, but as long as you plan ahead, you'll have no problem!!!! I certainly wouldn't think the crowds were anywhere near what I've heard about from the summer experience.

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to 1900 Park Fair on Wed March 8th!! SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED about Cinderella!!!

It was 80ish today... no clouds, no humidity:sunny: :sunny: - (these are the days that make the hot humid summer days all worthwhile!) DD wanted to go in the pool when she got home... (it's not heated....but she said it was HOT out!)

after EMH opening at Epcot, and hitting both Soarin and TT, it was about 9:00am, and we decided to see what characters were at the Character Connection, and BINGO! NO LINE - Mickey, Minnie (I got a kiss, and Mickey was jealous), Pluto, Donald, and Chip and Dale. All with Photopass photographers.

With the new $99 Photopass CD, you really can't go wrong with doing it this way. We might even leave the camera home next year.

We will also be at 1900 Park Fare on Wednesday March 8th. We have never eaten here so we are looking forward to trying something new.
