Questions about Magical Express

Hi! I have some questions, hopefully someone can help me out.

I'm booked for Oct 28th - Nov 4th and I selected Magical Express transportation but since I'm not from the US/Canada/UK my airport wasn't listed and I chose to add that information later. (I booked through the website)

1) Do I have to call to provide my flight information or is there some other way to do it like e-mail or an online form?

2) How soon should I do it? I booked my trip in february but I'm still waiting for one of my friends to purchase his ticket so I can tell them if one of us has a different flight. I'm guessing I shouldn't wait that long to provide flight information.

1: You need to call to add your flight information.

2: I would call and book now and then add your friend's information when his flight is booked.

Generally, it's a good idea to add your flight info as soon as you know it. I would make sure it's added at least two months prior to the trip (if possible).

Just FYI. The inbound flight info is only for MEARS/DME planning/resources.

I would just call and tell them we are all on the same flight and call it a day.

When you get to the DME check in with your magic bands check in those that are and let those that aren't check in themselves.

Having the DME associated with your trip makes getting on the bus quicker. But even that can be fixed at the DME desk at MCO all you really need is a Disney resort conf # for a stay that is current (either checking in today or spans today)

You can book your Magical Express online at www.disneysmagicalexpress.com. You will need to fill out a form for each resort reservation.

Definitely book as soon as you can to ensure you get your luggage tags on time. One of my favorite things about ME...not having to deal with luggage.

He seems to be coming international.

The process is different depending on when he completes customs. They MAY have to claim the luggage and carry it through customs, and then reinsert (which I suspect is the case, because if he was doing customs at say JFK and flying domestic to MCO, his airport would be in the database.)

But honestly with all the issues I've had with DME/Bags Inc dealing with my bags most of the time I just grab them and bring them on the bus with me. If I already had to grab them for customs, I would just walk them right to the bus and let them ride to resort with me, and have the bell at the resort take them.
