I always keep in mind that the original OKW owners got park passes as part of their membership, and were told they'd always get something like that when those expired. And when we bought, there was a discount on LOS passes - we've never used an AP discount - and although we bought resale, we did talk to a guide about buying direct, who again said we'd always have a discount....just turns out that within two or three years it wasn't one we got use out of.
