Questions about HHN 2010

Did you notice the fruit arranged into a phallic symbol near the Gypsy's wagon? Did you see the chatty tourist on her cellphone get kidnapped at the beginning of Saw, only to reappear further down the line in a trap? Did you see the feral vampires coming to eat their snacks? There are hundreds of small details in the houses, most missed as you get pushed through by the crowd. I wish I had time to meander through at my own pace but 30-40 visits could accomplish the same thing.

Honestly, if I saw these things, I probably forgot about it by the next day. :confused3
but I do remember the tourist being kidnapped in Saw and how she reappeared now that you mention it. and of course the Gypsy wagon. but 30 or 40 visits through a house would get dull after awhile. at least to me it would. :bored:

I could have gone through Leave it to Cleaver or Dracula a couple hundred more times :thumbsup2

that was the house that had my heart!!

i thought it was fantastic, went through it many times.

did you hear what the two "kids" at the beginning of the house would say when peeps walked through?
it was a hoot!

about Saw, well, it didn't do anything for me, but many loved it.

Goodness. you went through the Saw house more than 40 times? doesn't it get kinda dull after say the first five or six times? I don't mean to sound snarky (forgive me if I do) but where is the thrill when you have been through it that many times?
The 40-some times were split over the course of 16 nights, so that breaks down to two to three times per visit. I would see it as a waste to not go through every house at least once on every visit and to repeat faves once or twice. Saw was so detailed that we noticed new things every time. Also, that house was very timing-dependent to get the best effect, so repeated walk-throughs allowed us to learn the timing and then adjust our pace to see all the traps. There were still things that we only saw a few times...out of all those run-throughs, we only saw the tourist grabbed twice. It was also fun when the people in there started to know us and stepped things up...it was really creepy to have one of the pigs call me by name and people giving Vault shoutouts (we bought Vault shirts this year).

We did Cleaver as many times as Saw and that one didn't get boring either, but for different reasons. Since you could chat with the scareactors in there, it was fun to hear all the different ad libs they came up with over the course of HHN.

Yes, Cleaver was the sleeper hit of HHN. Even the movies they showed while you were waiting in line were good enough to make you not mind waiting.
