Hi all, we are planning to go to WDW next Dec. Probably flying out around
13th Dec and returning on 27th. I am starting to get jittery about pricing!
We really want to stay at POP, but I am worried that when the brochures come out that it will be too pricey for us.
So I looked at prices for this year. 14nts at POP plus VA flights is £700 less doing DIY than VH brochure price ( i know, not always accurate).
My concerns are that based on how the weather has been these past couple of years in Dec:
What happens if the flight can't leave LGW? Do you get bumped to a later flight or the next day etc? If on a package does this alter the start and end date of the holiday?
What happens with Disney if the flight is delayed a day or more? Do they move the booking so it will still be 14nts but just a different check in date? (i realise i would have to let them know myself)
Presumably I could claim off ins for loss of hotel room for "x" no of nights lost, but this wouldn't replace the actual time I would lose .
I hope this is all clear !!
Thanks for any help
