Questions about Candlelight Processional

Hi, sorry if this has already been asked, but I have a couple questions about the candlelight processional-

1.) I saw that the first night of our trip, one of our favorite actors is the celebrity narrator- are they actually there in person, or is it just a recording?

2.) DS will be 2.5 yo at the time of the trip- is this a little too much for a 2 yo to handle, or will it be exciting enough for them to sit through?

3.) Would you recommend getting a dinner package to get the reserved seats?

1. Yes it is in person. Small place, and you can see the actor.
2. Depends on your child. It is a story from the bible with of music (chorus, trumpets)
3. We did because we did not want to wait over one hour for a seat. It is a busy time of the year.

2. My DS were 1.5 and 4.5 at the time. 4.5 yo kept complaining he was bored. He's very active. 1.5 year old was more interested in the people around us. We were sitting up front to the side and couldn't see as well. We requested to sit up front because my MIL is legally blind and that's where the put us. It probably would have kept them more interested if we could see better.

3. We had the dinner reservations which helped, but still leave yourself plenty of time to get there early. I was surprised how packed it was when we got there and had to request the special seating because of MIL.


I probably would not go with young children and/or MIL to this event again... I enjoyed the parts DSs let me.
