We shop almost exclusively at Aldi. Our main staples all come from there, Bread, milk, eggs, butter, cheese are all excellant and much less expensive than our local Chain style stores. I love their 100 cal packs of cookies, the Rice Cakes (caramel), they just got new baked chips.. ( think Baked Lays). love the BBQ ones of those. We like their Ice cream. I use the cake mixes, and canned frosting. I just recently tried the seasonal mix for cinnamon bread/coffee cake, yummy! We like the cereal, and we use the condiments. All of our Paper Products,TP, paper towels, napkins, and paper plates, come from there. Trash bags and laundry soap too, We have purchased tooth brushes and I use the Lacura line of face care products, and make up... the list goes on and on.
The only things that we do not buy from there are my generic "Diet Mountain Dew", coffee, Kraft American cheese, although we do buy Aldi if we are lazy. The best part of shopping at aldi, is that you don't really have to make a decision, you usually only have one choice. There is no size choice, no brand choice, Say you want Mustard.. you can choose, regular yellow mustard or go up a notch and choose dijon, spicy brown or honey. There is no choosing what's on sale, or store brand or national brand.. just buy what's there. It makes it really easy for DH to do All of our shopping.. there is no decisions to make.
Adding, don't forget to take a quarter for your cart and your own bags..
