I'm thinking of adding on a small contract at GCV. A 25 point contract would be enough to stay 4-5 nights every three years.

1. Are incentives ever offered for small contracts like this?

2. My use year is Aug. Would I get 2009 points if I bought now?

3. Does a small contract still require cash payment and what are the extra costs besides $112 point? Is tax extra?

Thanks,

Kandi

There have usually not been any incentives for small add-ons at currently selling resorts but you would get points from the current Use Year (August, 2009 in this case).

DVC has not typically offered financing on purchases below 50 points, but there are no other fees (except prorated maintenance fees) and there would be no closing costs for an add-on.

Enjoy! :)

I think the price reduction incentive starts at 50 points - $15 off when you buy 50, $17 at 100, $19 at 125 (according to my guide yesterday).

So that still makes it at 97pp? I'm hoping the webcast might shave off a bit more...

Correct - $97 for 50 pts, which is kind of a steal compared to other resorts.

I'm signed up for the webinar too to see if they drop another couple bucks before adding on.
