Questions about 1 bedrooms at VWL

We have stayed in a studio twice and a 2 bedroom once at VWL but never a 1 bedroom. We are looking at our DVC member guidebook trying to figure out how the 1 beds are layed out, realizing, not all of them are dedicated.

So, how many dedicated 1 beds does VWL have? For those that are not dedicated, how are they layed out?

The 1 bedroom is the same as a two bedroom without the second bedroom. The couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa.

Usually the entrance to the second bedroom is off the front foyer.

I only have 3 floor represented on my map, but here's what I show on those three floors:

1st floor -
16- 1 bdrm lockoffs
1 - 1 bdrm dedicated

2nd floor -
9 - 1 bdrm lockoffs
7 - 1 bdrm dedicated

5th floor -
2 - 1 bdrm lockoffs
6 - 1 bdrm dedicated

So, if you want a dedicated, you might request one along with an upper floor. It seems there are a LOT more when you get off the first floor. I don't know anything about the third floor, but we were recently on the 4th floor, and it seemed to be layed out a lot like the second (but, honestly I didn't think there were that many dedicateds on that floor. I saw a lot of doors right near each other...I am assuming those were lockoffs).

The layout of the 1 bdrms is almost identical to BCV, BWV and SSR...unless you are asking about specific changes, you can plan on them being very similar to the other resorts. Did that at all answer your question?

The only difference between a lockoff and dedicated 1 bedroom is the presence of the lockoff door. Noise can come through that door from the studio, so dedicated is preferable but not a huge deal.

The entrance to the second bedroom at VWL is off the living room, next to the TV, not the front foyer.
