I have a reservation at the WL for May and I requested a woods view room because I wanted to be able to see the castle and Wishes. But after reading alot of posts on these boards I'm now wondering if we would be happier with a courtyard view. From everything I've read, even with a woods view room its hard to see the castle and wishes. I would love some feedback concerning this. Also, is a courtyard view more per night than a woods view? :confused3

Thanks!

courtyard view is generally alot more.

woods view if you get high enough you can see the top of the castle.

I like the woods view - not because of the castle - but the little pond - it did attract alot of wildlife in the area....

I would be happy with a woods view, but I must admit I DO prefer a courtyard view. I just got back from WL on Saturday and I had booked a woods view with a FL res rate (I think it was $121 before tax) because they had no courtyard views available at the FL res rate (I think it was gonna be $139 a night.) During check in I got a complimentary upgrade to courtyard. If it is not crowded they will upgrade you. I am not sure how May will be, though. good luck and have fun, it is a beautiful resort!

We had a third floor woods view room in December and during the day all I could see was the CR and the monorail....and then as soon as night hit - there was the castle all lit up! It was wonderful....I prefer the Woods View...we got to see fireworks every night!
