I have a resort reservation for August. Can I call Disney back and purchase tickets without turning it into a package, or do I need to get the tickets from another source to keep from becoming a package?

You can add tickets to your reservation without turning it into a package. If you want to add the dining plan and tickets then it would become a package.

Yes, you can purchase your tickets through Disney without making it a package. We pretty much always book a room only and still buy our tickets through them as well.

Payment due dates and cancellation policies are different with packages than with room only reservations.

- packages need to be paid in full 30 days out. RO doesn't need to be paid until check in.
-packages need to be cancelled 30 days out to get a full refund. RO can be cancelled up to 5 days out.
- everyone in the room has to have the same package components. In this case, the same ticket type and number of days.
