I am having to get new backpack/cooler for any trips that i plan now mines ripping after 5 years

I found one in my budget for back pack, cooler and chair (folds up when on back but unfolds holds 250lbs and then folds back up. I saw some one with one of these there, i was wondering if its allowed or would i be takign a chance being told I cant use it?

I dont want to buy it and then be told i cant use it

No, if they figure out it makes into a chair, they won't allow it in. Once in, if you unfold it, they will likely ask you to take it out.

what about small fold up chairs that can fit in bags? (ok so im with a camper family and they have these small fold up chairs just looking for some thing if its allowed to get lol)

They do not want you to take anything that looks like a chair in with you..
I have a cane that has a seat attached.. at security had me step aside so they could all debate whether or not I could take it in.. told me I may have to hire a wheel chair.. to which I replied that if I was to hire a wheel chair then they would be paying for it... I dont need a wheelchair just a cane....
after what seemed like hours they decided that I could take it in.. but just not open the chair part.. then when I got inside ,, I saw a woman with a cane and a chair and she was using it as a seat..
So I guess you can try and take your cooler chair in.. and use it.. if someone sees you they may or may not ask you to close it up..

ill just get the other one 21bucks and no chair but nice cooler back pack looks to hold what we would need ty
