Question - Using Disney Vacation Account

Forgive me if this is simple or obvious.

Can all items bought/used/eaten at the park be paid off with your DVA account (obviously assuming the funds are there).

Example: If I eat at Rose & Crown, then buy souvenirs at Animal Kingdom, etc...if I charge those to my room/magic band, can I then (before checkout) tell them to take the money out of my DVA?

Just curious, since obviously the more I spend/use from DVA, the closer/more $20 bonuses I get.

No, the DVA cannot be used at all in person. It's only valid for pre-paid expenses. You can, however, request the balance of your DVA to be returned to you in the form of a gift card, which you can use in person. That gift card will not count towards the bonus spending threshold.

It would be nice if you can add money to your account prior to your WDW vacation like you can with a Disney Cruise and have it count towards the threshold.

The above is correct and I agree, what's the point of a vacation account if you can't use it for all vacation purposes.
