Question regarding use of dining plan with DVC

Hi All,

For our upcoming vacation we are staying at a BWV and would like to use the dining plan For the weekend we are staying at PORS on cash to conserve our points. I know on the member website it said DVC members can use the dining plan at a any DVC property or WDW resort but should I assume it can only be used if we stay at PORS using points?

If you made a cash reservation through CRO for your POR stay, you will have to purchase a package to get DDP for that time frame. That means tickets, rack rate and the DDP.

I beleve you can get the DDP for your stay on points.

Or if you booked the room with an AP discount Mousesavers has this posted under packages.

Discounted Annual Passholder Packages with Dining are now being offered for stays 8/3/08-9/27/08. There is a room discount, but the Dining Plans are priced at the regular rate. These bookings are subject to regular Walt Disney Travel Company package rules.

Don't know if this helps you, but it's good to know there are some ways to still get an AP discount and use the Dining Plan.
