We'll be in WDW for 5 days. We're currently buying 4 day park hoppers, with the plan being for one day we'll relax at the pool, go to Downtown Disney, etc etc. The idea would be if we're really inspired (and don't want to rest!) we'd use the ability to add-on to your park tickets while on site (they would give us credit of our existing pass to upgrade us the day so we'd only have to pay the difference). My question is related to the discounted pre-purchasing of tickets.
We're buiying our 4 day hoppers at the local Disney store. I assume in calculating the value of the current pass, they use the number that you paid for them (which for us is $204.48). When they look at the cost of the new 5 day park hopper, do they also look at the prepurchase price? Or do they look at the gate price?
Prepurchase: $231.11 - $204.48 = $26.63 difference to pay to add on the 5th day
Gate: $254.54 - $204.48 = $50.06 difference to pay to add on the 5th day
$25 may not seem like alot... but when you have a party of 5....
I know someone out there will say "just buy the 5 day hopper... they never expire!) but while that will be great for my wife and kids and I, there are a few in our party who will likely never again go to WDW. (GASP!).
Thanks...
