This year, everyone has been going on and on and on about how bad the pollen is. Several weeks ago, when the tree pollen was at it's peak, we were getting pollen counts close to 3,000 (mainly for oak).
It seems that everyone around me (including myself) is suffering miserably. There are days that I feel bad and I go home and watch the new and find that the pollen was "only 300." Yesterday, I was at an appointment with a doctor and she was suffering horribly. She said that the pollen was so bad this year and other doctors were telling her that since there has been no rain, the pollen is "very strong."
So, I watch the news last night and the pollen was only about 180.
So, I'm confused. Is the pollen strong (whatever that means)? Are they not accurate in their pollen reporting? It seems that way because there is pollen all over everything. But only 180?
