Question regarding MYW tickets and FP +

Its been a while since we've been to Orlando and actually gone to the Disney theme parks. If we buy our tickets now in order to take advantage of our 60-day fast pass window (staying at Wilderness Lodge) and link the tickets to our MDE account, am I forced to use those tickets on the days I selected the fastpass tickets for? In other words, say for whatever reason our planned September trip has to be cancelled, even though I already linked the MYW tickets to my account and selected fastpass rides, can we still use our theme park passes on a future date? Thanks!

1. No.
2. Yes.
No problem.
You merely need to own valid tickets in order to make FP+ reservations.
Those tickets are not "put into play" until you actually USE them to enter a theme park.
