Question regarding Military Discount

Hi everyone!

This question may have been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it and the search didn't bring anything up, so I'm sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time.

Anyway, I am active duty AF for 45 days out of every year and I am in the AF reserves the rest of the time. I am in the AF HPSP program which means I go to medical school (reserves) and do medical related stuff for 45 days (or 30, but my orders still state 45 active duty days). I will not be on active duty during the time we can go to Disney, however I will have been on active duty for 45 days a couple months before we would theoretically be going to Disney.

Can anyone tell me if I qualify for the ticket and 40% off room discount??

My understanding is that if you have orders for those active duty days, you can present a copy of them with your reserves ID and then you qualify.

My TA was told by CRO that we qualified for the Reserve rate but that DH would have to show orders that he had been active any time in the past two years.
