Question regarding Membership # Direct Purchase

Hi all!

Sorry if this has been asked. I've been trying to find an answer on getting my membership number after a direct purchase, but all I can find info on is a resale purchase.

We just put a deposit down for VGF. I was told I should get my membership number with my initial packet of paperwork that I need to sign and notarize.

Is this correct? If so, how long does it normally take until you receive this? I paid the deposit on my credit card on Wednesday (Sept. 3rd).

There's no rush, I'm not booking any time soon, I'm just very excited to get my number so I can log into the member's site and start browsing!

Call your guide, get the info from him/her. You can also ask them to help you with your first reservation. If the guide says that they won't do these things, ask for a manager and change guides.

You paid a premiums and should receive premium service.

We were given our membership number the day we paid our deposit.

Our packet arrived a few days after we paid our deposit. I was also able to get our member # from Member Services.

Congrats and HOME!!! You should be able to get your member number from your guide. You should get the packet in the mail in the next few days, but I'd call the guide back and ask for your member # and then call MS and get set up for the member website.

We got our paperwork and are nearly done filling it out. Just have to get the final form notarized.

It hardly feels real to us and I imagine it won't feel real until our first visit to VGF.

I have dreamed of staying there since I was 9 and my parents took me there for dinner one night. There was a man playing the grand piano and I asked him if he would play "When you Wish Upon a Star" for me. He played the most beautiful version I've ever heard. That moment has stuck with me for 20 years.

I am so excited!
