Question regarding food carts in the parks

Have any of you had trouble using your charging privileges at the food carts in the parks?

I have never encountered any problems charging. The only problems i have had is when i use my rewards card. Some of the CM's don't know how to use it. Otherwise, no problems at all.

It's not allowed when using a DDE card. I've never used KTTW card at a cart vendor.

We just got back and had no problems at all at any of the snack carts. We used our room key card which had the dining plan on it.

Gave it to them, they had me sign and then gave me a receipt with our snack balance on it.

I know WDW was in the process of adding telephone lines to the carts so they can take charges. Not sure if this was completed or there might be a few carts still not hooked up. I would carry some cash just in case.

I used my room key at the carts with no problem. I used it as part of the dining plan for snacks ... love those MICKEY HEAD ICE CREAM BARS!!!
