Question regarding APH/AAA discounts

Hi,

I am a APH and I also have a AAA card.

Do you get discounts with either of these cards at the hotel restaurants like at City Walk and the park restaurants?

I probably didnt word my original question quite right. What I meant to ask was do you get any discounts at the on-site hotel restaurants? Like The Kitchen/BeachClub/Velvet bar etc

We are at the HRH for 17 nights in September and even a 10% discount could save us quite a bit with either of these cards.

Don't forget the 15% off the restaurants and some carts in the parks and the 20% off in the stores in the parks (APH). Tip - buy your bottled water and soda in the stores, not the carts and then you get the 20% off. Most of the stores have coolers and when we were there in July, the stores had the same deal as the carts - 2 for $4.00. Just at the carts - no discount, at the stores - 20% off.

You wouldn't think $0.80 is much off of two waters or soda, but it does add up. At least for us it did. We were a large group, so we typically bought 10 waters or sodas at a time. $20.00 - so the discount was $4.00. And we usually did this at least 2 to 3 times per day. So, that is $8.00 to $12.00 per day. We were there for 10 days, so we saved $8.00 x 10 days - $80.00 just on buying water or pop in the stores vs. at the carts. That 80 cents does add up with all the water we bought in the heat of July

Oh, and we did go to SuperWalmart, so had a case of water back at the hotel. So, we know we could have saved even more by carrying in our water, but we just got tired of lugging around enough water for 11 people Especially after an afternoon in the backpack - it was HOT - yuch. Much preferred to just buy it in the stores!

Thanks...was wondering about Mythos....I'm sure they offer some kind of discount! Doesn't sound like too many places don't offer an AP or AAA discount at UO!
