We are preparing for a trip this summer on DCL for our daughters graduation from high school. At the time of the cruise, she will be 18 by two weeks. She is taking a friend of hers from school who will only be 17. Will DCL allow my daughter to still go to teen club with her friend even though the age is 13-17? If they are strict on the age, then it really puts us in a tight spot since neither would be able to go with the other to the clubs, forcing them to just walk around the ship all the time.

Sadly, they won't allow her into the club. There may be some open house times where anyone can go in.

Unfortunately, no, DCL is very strict on the upper age limit of the kids clubs. At 18, your DD is officially considered an adult and DCL uses that as a hard-set cut-off. No adults are allowed into ANY of the kids' spaces except during Open House times. So your DD can go during Open House. She also is welcome to utilize any "adult only" spaces, but unfortunately at 17 her friend could not.

But there are many activities around the ship separate from Vibe programming. Movies, sports deck, lounges with games, check the Navigator for activities designated "all ages", pool and other water activities depending on ship, shopping, etc.

The only other option is to try to move your cruise earlier/later so both girls will be the same age.

Enjoy your cruise!
