So, I read another thread from a while back stating that you can't take pictures in La Nouba (a little bit of a bummer, but on the other hand it will force me to really pay close attention to the show and enjoy my first experience at Cirque du Soliel).

My question is, the plan is that we will head over to Downtown Disney to do some shopping on our first day and then go get something to eat and see La Nouba. I plan on having my camera with me the whole time, for pictures in DTD. Obviously I will not be using it at the show, but since I will have it with me...will I be allowed to bring it in or will I have to make a trip back to the hotel to drop it off beforehand?

You can bring it in, they don't do any type of bag check, but if you take it out while you're in the theater, the nearest usher will make a bee-line right to you & let you know of their rules.

I was in the theater a half an hour before the show started & simply took a picture of my friend sitting next to me & the usher yelled at me from 5 rows away. They are VERY strict! They do tell you though, that if you want pics you can take them in the foyer, just not in the theater. :thumbsup2

I brought my D50 into the show back in Feb. It was around my neck- no problem bringing it in. I kept it on my lap. Like Lisa said, they strictly enforce their policies!
Great show, Enjoy!
