question re: Ohana

We are taking our first trip to WDW in October and we are so excited. We made dinner reservations one night for Ohanas. I saw on another post that it is a great place to see "wishes." Can someone tell me what "wishes" is and what time to have a ADR if you wanted to see,"wishes?" Our reservation is for 6:30pm.

Wishes is the nightime fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom. They will pipe in the music and probably dim the lights so you can see / hear from Ohana. Check the theme park hours and that will tell you if / what time Wishes will be that night.

Wishes is the name of the fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom. You can see it across the lagoon from the windows in O'Hana's. Check the disney website, (www.disney.com), and click on the link for 'Calendar', it will tell you the time that Wishes will take place each night. Then book your AR for about 1 hour to 45min. before that, (in case it takes you a while to get your table). They dim the lights and play the soundtrack for the fireworks in the restaurant. Be sure to ask for a window table when you arrive, It's not guaranteed, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Oh my goodness!!! You are in for a treat!! Wishes is a great fireworks show w/music, fireworks, and lights. It's all choreographed (sorry if no spelled right!) It's great!!! Y'all are going to have a great time. We are also going to Ohana's for the first time this year. Our reservations are 5 minutes after the fireworks though

It varies by day. Sometimes at 8pm others 9pm, on a MNSSHP they are not listing what time Wishes is.

On the MNSSHP days, they don't do Wishes. There is a special Halloween themed fireworks show, and I think it is at 9:15 each MNSSHP night.
