Question re: MNSSHP

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Halloween Party always starts in the beginning of Oct? We're trying to figure out when we want to go next year and I thought it would be fun for our children if we could be there for that. We usually go the last week of Sept but we would go a week later so we could be there for the Halloween fun. Anyone know?

The dates for MNSSHP are:

Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31

The party starts each night at 7:00 and lasts until midnight.

Capt Bear, where did you get those dates? They don't match up with the 2006 dates in the Unofficial Guide site, for instance the UG has no MNSSHP party listed on the 30th. I'm planning a trip for next year also so I'm interested in the exact dates.

Are the dates the same each year? We want to go NEXT year and I want to make sure we will be there for one of the nights.

They don't release dates for MNSSHP or MVMCP until April or May of that year. You can only go by dates of prior years.

They do have them - in recent years - from the beginning of Oct to the end of Oct and only on Sun, Tues, Thu, Fri.

Ah, OK. That would explain why the UG does not list 2006 MNSSHP on Oct 28 (Sat) or 30th (Mon). Thank you~

I think you are talking about 2005.....the OP was asking about 2006 dates.

Yep, I was talking about 2006. Just wondering if we go the first week of Oct if we will be guarranteed one night of the event. I guess I'll just go with that assumption!!

They dates do change a bit each year. Especially since they don't typically hold a Saturday night party and such. However, the party does start right at the start of October. We went to the October 1st party last year. We found it to be wonderful, particularly compared to the sold out Halloween night party we did the year before.

Sorry, I understand now. We have noticed that the events have been on Tuesday and Fridays for the month of Oct. But, that could change.

As always with Disney, don't count on anything until it's OFFICALLY announced. The party days do indeed change slightly from year to year - they seem to be adding more every time.
