Question Re: How full the ship is

I imagine she's referring to last march when a little 4 year old drown and was revived .

How awful! I know that accidents can happen anywhere with or without supervision. I don't know the circumstances behind this incident but I am especially vigilant in watching my children in the water because this can happen so quickly. My prayers go out to this family.

Ah, I see, yes. The difference is that on the ships they do not usually allow a separate picture for each child. It might be one picture of just the kids, and then a picture for the whole family. For high volume events like the Princess gatherings or the entire gang, they only allow one picture per family period. So in your example, the one person holding the spot in line for a group of kids is still only holding a spot for one encounter, not a series of encounters with each kid.

We just got off a very full Fantasy cruise 10/26/13 and did not find this to be the case. The characters took time if kids wanted individual pictures with the characters even during the princess gathering. The lines were longer then we were used to but we learned to go early and one of us would stand in line while the other entertained DD.

I agree. We cruised in July and had no issues doing multiple shots with Mickey, Goofy, or Captain Jack Sparrow.

Exactly. This is a huge difference between the number of passengers on board with all cabins filled, versus all berths filled.

There are still 26 categories of rooms available on Dream for Sunday's 4-night so I'm guessing there will be plenty of 'spreading out' room.

Thats really awesome!

Glad to hear cruises are more congenial. Parks can be quite cutthroat, especially in the heat. Lol

26 categories? How many are there total?
