Question re Blue Bayou F! seating area

We have this package booked and are quite excited! It’ll be my first time seeing it and my daughters. My husband saw it years and years ago.

I’m wondering about the sitting area in the BB section. I’m well aware that it’s sitting but what I’m hoping is that there’s an area within the sitting area that would allow my husband to lean on something while he sits? He has a physical disability that leaning would be so much easier. Is there maybe a small wall, flower pot, something within this area?
Any help or tips would be great.

I did the Blue Bayou Fantasmic Dining package on Wednesday 20 June. I was in the first 20 people, I waited in line from about 7.20pm for the 9 pm show. The let us down to the viewing area at 8pm and I managed to get at the railing at the water. Until the show starts at 9pm people can stand or kneel or lean against the railing, but once the show starts everyone must sit on the ground.

If you sit at the very back there is a wall I’m assuming he could lean on.
There is a walkway between the BB seating and the wall, so no one can sit there.

There are posts for ropes and garbage cans along the rear edge of the seating areas, and guests do lean against those (sitting on the ground, not standing).
Is an ECV an option? Those park at the back edge of the seating area.
OP should ask a CM when being seated about any alternate seating locations. Guests are sometimes seated on the steps near the Lafette anchor.

He doesn’t use an ECV or wheelchair at all. He’s a double leg amputee and has prosthetic legs. He can sit on the ground but it’s hard (nearly impossible) to stretch his legs out so he keeps them bent in a weird way and it’s taxing on his back, it’s best to have something to lean back on. The posts and garbage cans sounds promising.

This is one of the things he hates most...lol, shows and sitting on the ground. But he loves me so he’s doing it. :-)

I would talk to a CM for sure. I would hope they would do something to accommodate his needs.

Another option might be to try the RBT F! Premium Dining Package. That package comes with actual chairs on the RBT patio. You get dinner during the first F! show. While the view is further back than the other reserved seating areas, at least your husband would be able to sit in an actual seat with a back -- maybe that would be easier and more comfortable? This package must be reserved by phone (714/781-DINE).

Thanks. I appreciate the suggestion. We are definitely doing BB though. The menu at RBT terrace doesn’t look as good to us and I want a front and center view.
I’m a dessert gal too and the dessert looks SO much better at BB than RBT.

He uses the DAS pass so he gets the help with that...it’s the shows (parades, fireworks) he “suffers” through for me.

I have a back injury that makes sitting on the ground very difficult and have done the BB F!! Package several times. Once I got "lucky" and had a garbage can to kind of lean against. It helped a little, but would move if you really leaned into it. So...It's possible he might find something, but unlikely. I also won't rent an ECV, because I can walk fine, it's sitting that's hardest. I do wish there were better options for viewing the shows!!
